Cuyahoga Valley Native Sons and Daughters is a father/child organization designed for kids from kindergarten to early teenage years. Older kids can join, too! Before a child reaches 4th grade they will be placed in a tribe. A tribe is broken up by gender and grade. For example:
- Kindergarten boy
- Kindergarten girls
- First grade boys
- First grade girls
- …
- Fourth grade boys
- Fourth grade girls
After fourth grade, a child will graduate from the tribe. The tribe will dissolve. However, this isn’t the end of the journey. Kids who graduate will be able to join Pathfinders and continue to attend CVNSND events, just like before. Only, it won’t be age and gender specific.
