LATENIGHTER

The CVNSND LateNighter will take place at the Independence Civic Center on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 from 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.  Scheduled activities include use of the indoor pool, playing games/basketball in open gym, inflatables, crafts and movies.  The menu will include pizza, chicken nuggets, snacks, drinks and many dessert choices, so be sure to arrive hungry!  Dads won’t have to worry about getting their daughters ready to swim, because we plan on having some of our Pathfinder girls in attendance to help out in the girl’s locker room.

The purpose of the annual LateNighter event is two-fold.  First, it is a great opportunity for the kids and dads to blow off some steam in the middle of winter in order to create great memories together while enjoying the amenities of a terrific local venue.  Secondarily, it is an opportunity to raise funds for our longhouse.  In order to be able to continue to provide the highest caliber of experiences for our members, our non-profit organization has to continue to maintain, replace, etc., our equipment, etc., and the proceeds of the LateNighter are vital for the continued success of CVNSND.  Please keep both of thoughts in mind as you prepare to join in on the fun on the 8th!

As in past years, we’re having a raffle consisting of prize baskets donated by all of the Longhouse tribes.  Five tickets per child will be included with your admission, but we will have additional tickets available for sale.

Also on hand will be Pine Car Derby kits and CVNSND apparel for purchase.

Admission is $10.00 per family along with one canned food donation per person for the local Food Bank.  There is no additional cost for dads bringing in more than one son or daughter.

The Independence Civic Center is located at 6363 Selig Drive, just 1/3 mile west of Route 21 in Independence.
