Nature Walk at Ledges Trail in Peninsula

Dads please join us on our annual nature hike this Sunday, November 8, 2020 starting at 10:30 a.m.  We will meet at the Ledges Shelter in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula, Ohio for a granola bar snack before heading out for a moderate 2 mile hike along the Ledges. Please bring a water bottle for hydration, and wear comfortable shoes for hiking on uneven terrain. Look forward to seeing you there!

  This is a Longhouse rain-or-shine event – so watch the weather, although for now it is looking unseasonably nice!.
• This event is open to Dads and kids from all tribes as well as Pathfinders. Sorry
  moms! Enjoy the peace and quiet 🙂

Directions from Brecksville to Ledges Trail in Peninsula:

• Head south on Interstate 77.
• Take Exit 146 and follow the signs for OH-21 south/Brecksville Road
• After about .5 miles, turn left onto Boston Mills Road.
• After about 1.1 miles, turn right onto Black Road.
• After about 1.2 miles, turn left onto OH-303/W Streetsboro Rd.
• After about 3.2 miles, turn right onto Akron Peninsula Road.
• After about 1 mile, turn left onto Truxell Rd.
• After about 2.1 miles is the entrance to the Ledges Shelter.
